This forum is for local government members of the Howe Sound Community Forum and invited observers.

Mayor Jack Crompton and the Resort Municipality of Whistler will host the October 13th, 2023, Howe Sound Community Forum for elected officials, staff, and invited observers. The meeting takes place in the Longhouse at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre in Whistler. See the program here.

Elected officials will share updates from their communities on actions related to the Howe Sound region. This is an opportunity to learn more about the host community of the Resort Municipality of Whistler.

The program will also include an update from MP Weiler and MLA Sturdy, the Ocean Watch Action Committee and the Howe Sound Biosphere Region Initiative. We will learn more about the recent news from Capilano University, and there is time for Roundtable conversations on communicating with the community in these complex times.

Attendees are invited to visit the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre.
